Due to popular demand, we introduce the event ‘Stjerneaften’ in English, though only as a trial. If successful, we plan on having more events in English.
This year’s spring equinox falls on March 20th, which means that the chance of seeing northern lights is greater in March. In this talk, we focus on the phenomenon northern lights, or aurora. We show you how this fascinating phenomenon occurs and give you advice as to how the light show is best observed – in Denmark and in the polar regions of the world.
You will also learn to navigate the night sky to find the constellations and planets visible in March.
